Our Managing Director, Clive Jones comes from a family of small business owners, manufacturers, engineers and service professionals. His background since leaving school has been in business management… theory and practical experience combined. His history shows a trail of troubleshooting and improving how things in businesses small, medium and large run.
An example of this was working with a company with major stock control issues. Using a simple systematic approach to identifying errors, mainly procedural, and putting systems or procedures in place, from Sales, through to Accounts, Purchasing, Goods in, Despatch, Returns, Management… a $12M computer hardware and software with only 48% accuracy in the computer … a disaster waiting to happen… Clive lifted the accuracy to 99.8%.
Clive has run his own businesses since 1993 and as a Business Coach for the last 6, Clive spends most of his time helping business owners just like you implement systems to their businesses, with the aim of increasing their profits and giving them the freedom to choose when they work and the hours they work. Clive says “One of my favourite words is “Leverage”, and I’m constantly thinking, how can we use the power of leverage to benefit this business or situation. Just like putting a crowbar under something to give you more power to move something, or a set of pulley blocks to decrease the amount of exertion you need to apply when pulling the rope, I like to explore systems and processes that once you’ve established them, your work is done, and you can get others to do it for you... consistently over and over again”.
Over this time Clive has also formed strong connections with quality individuals and businesses to extend his abilities and resources to leverage his own abilities. He is surrounded by a strong team, who will be able to support business owners and team leaders achieve their goals.
